Job Title: Behavioral Health Professional

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at LADGOV CORPORATION. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and monitoring the mental status of our personnel and their immediate family members, providing advice and guidance on behavioral health issues, and collaborating with military commands and service providers to enhance the behavioral health delivery system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and monitor the mental status of personnel and their family members, identifying potential behavioral health issues and developing strategies to address them.
  • Provide advice and guidance to military commands and service providers on behavioral health issues, including combat-related stress, family separation, reunion, and reintegration.
  • Collaborate with behavioral health personnel at all organizational levels to enhance the behavioral health delivery system.
  • Assist in identifying problems and gaps in the current behavioral health delivery system and devising methods to improve and enhance it.
  • Make accurate assessments of personnel's and/or family members' mental status, making sound clinical decisions in the context of diagnostic uncertainty.
  • Make referrals to and link personnel to appropriate resources, including counseling services and support groups.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with personnel at all levels, ensuring that the Behavioral Health Professional is viewed as a resource and asset from the MACOM to the unit level.

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of two years' experience providing mental health services in a supervised setting.
  • Knowledge of military culture and issues, including combat-related stress, family separation, reunion, and reintegration, and experience intervening with military personnel is preferred.

Education/Certification:

  • Must have either a master's degree in social work from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling from a graduate program fully accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
  • Must hold a valid license issued by the Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board of the Wyoming Professional Licensing Agency to independently practice their profession at the master's degree level.
  • Must hold the Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential or the Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
