About the Role

Hometown America Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Colonial Estates in Sacramento, CA.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial real estate company that values its employees and residents.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the community is presentable, inviting, and adheres to our curb appeal standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine, emergency, and preventative maintenance tasks for the community's common buildings, common areas, and leased homes.
  • Ensure the community's grounds are well-maintained, including power washing, pest control, and landscaping.
  • Communicate daily with the supervisor and collaborate with team members to achieve customer expectations and ensure ongoing operations.
  • Follow safety procedures at all times, including safely operating equipment and vehicles.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous rapport with residents, vendors, contractors, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Previous experience and general knowledge of landscaping, basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and hand tools.
  • Ability to work in a variety of seasonal temperatures and outdoor conditions.
  • Take initiative and have the flexibility to work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays or other times outside of normal business hours for emergency situations.
  • A current, valid driver's license from the state where the community is located.
