Job Overview

New Communities Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) to join our team as a Senior Direct Support Professional. This is a leadership opportunity that offers growth potential within the organization and the healthcare field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care & Support: Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, medication administration, and other necessary support.
  • Community Engagement: Promote and participate in recreational and social activities, using company vehicles to facilitate client transportation.
  • Medication Oversight: Monitor the medication administration room, ensuring adherence to all protocols and policies. Maintain accurate documentation and effective communication with healthcare providers.
  • Appointment Coordination: Organize and manage clients' appointments, ensuring seamless coordination and communication between all involved parties.

This is a full-time Senior Direct Support Professional II position available in Norway, ME. The rate of pay starts at $15.75/hr.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma/GED is required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or over.
  • Must have current 40-Hr Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) certificate with 3-5 years' experience.
  • DSP certification is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
  • Active driver's license is required.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers whose primary language is English.
