Job Opportunity

New Communities Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician (MHRT) to join our team. As a MHRT, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with persistent mental health challenges in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in achieving their goals and promoting positive change through a supportive and non-judgmental approach
  • Administer medication and provide support with daily living activities
  • Encourage client community integration and inclusion through recreational and social activities
  • Act with the highest level of ethics and professional conduct to provide quality services with respect and compassion

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma/GED
  • 18 years of age or over
  • Active driver's license
  • Experience in direct care, preferred, but not required. Willing to train.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and coworkers whose primary language is English
