Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage supplies, materials, and products.
  • Oversee supply chain processes, including warehouse spaces and transportation services.
  • Identify ways to improve logistical operations.
  • Strategize for time and cost savings throughout the supply chain process.
  • Analyze factors affecting supply chain performance.
  • Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts.
  • Respond to and resolve complaints and problems.
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
  • Keep up to date on shipping carriers, routes, and rates.
  • Manage the maintenance of all order-related documentation and tracking information.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, operations engineering, supply chain management, or similar field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or transportation.
  • Commercial Drivers License (CDL) required.
