Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Supervisor to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing and merchandising of products, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and Merchandising: Execute receiving and merchandising standards to ensure products are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Engage and interact with customers to provide an excellent shopping experience.
  • Team Management: Train and mentor associates on merchandising and processing principles.
  • Inventory Control: Ensure merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to the sales floor.
  • Productivity: Monitor productivity of the team and coach as necessary.
  • Organization: Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
  • Recognition: Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills, capable of multi-tasking, and able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
