Job Title: Technical Service Advisor

Watsco is seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Advisor to provide exceptional support to our HVAC dealers, empowering our Sales Team to drive growth and success. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering superior technical support, training, and innovation to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support via phone, on-site visits, and training events to enhance the proficiency of HVAC technicians.
  • Conduct dealer training sessions to ensure seamless equipment operation and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain regular contact with regional managers to discuss future training topics and industry trends.
  • Develop and maintain a personal and professional development plan to stay ahead of industry innovations.
  • Lead the industry in proficiency of new technology, HVAC equipment, and accessories through manufacturer-provided training and Baker Distributors.
  • Manage expense budgets and submit regular activity and expense reports within specified timeframes.
  • Travel regularly for dealer one-on-one trainings, job site visits, manufacturer trainings, and branch/customer CEU training courses.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effectively multi-task and have the ability to learn quickly.
  • Field service work or equivalent Technical Service Advisor experience.
  • Must be able to do public presentations for groups.
  • Must meet manufacturer requirements for tech service levels across various lines of equipment.
  • Must be able to become state CEU certified in 5 states (AL, FL, GA, MS, SC).
Licensing and Certifications:

Valid driver's license.
