Job Overview:

SUMMARY

Engage with both internal teams and external clients to facilitate order completion and address inquiries and concerns. Precision and attention to detail are critical. The role requires the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a dynamic support environment, interacting with customers and colleagues across various departments while ensuring timely and accurate task completion.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Accurately and promptly process customer and internal orders utilizing ERP software.
  2. Maintain communication with clients regarding their orders.
  3. Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve any pending issues.
  4. Update order information regularly.
  5. Coordinate order logistics with planning and shipping teams.
  6. Handle Change Orders efficiently.
  7. Authorize product release for shipping and complete necessary documentation.
  8. Ensure that orders are dispatched according to established timelines.
  9. Perform daily clerical tasks with accuracy and efficiency (e.g., copying, filing).
  10. Work alongside the Materials team to enhance the operational efficiency of the department.
  11. Foster communication and collaboration with other departments as needed.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide backup support for other roles within the Materials Scheduling team as required through cross-training.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as directed by the Materials Scheduling Manager.

AUTHORITY

Empowered to request necessary supplies and resources to fulfill the responsibilities outlined above.

Authorized to collaborate with other departments to address issues related to the functions described in this job overview.

Experience and Skills:

  • Previous experience in customer service roles.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Capacity to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Basic computer proficiency; experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Proficient in reading and writing English.
  • Consistent attendance and reliability.
