We are seeking a skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join our team at a prestigious 300-bed hospital in Eastern Virginia. This locum tenens opportunity offers the chance to work with a talented group of professionals and provide top-notch care to the region's population.

Salary and Benefits

The compensation for this position is up to $24,000 per month, with an additional $2,000 per day for weekend call coverage. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will also be provided.

Job Description

This role involves working as part of a dynamic clinical team, providing expert care to patients in need of interventional cardiology services. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of board certification and a valid VA license.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A current VA license
  • Active DEA certification
  • Board certification in Interventional Cardiology

Work Schedule

This is a locum tenens opportunity that requires a commitment of two weeks per month, Monday through Friday (8am-5pm), with weekend call coverage. The census for this position is expected to be around 10-15 patients per day.
