Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Conduct thorough examinations, obtain medical histories, and provide acute and chronic patient care, including wellness physical exams, pre-operative interviews, and minor surgical procedures.
  • Medical Procedures: Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, monitor therapies, and provide continuity of care.
  • Collaboration with Physicians: Consult with supervising physicians as needed and refer patients to them for more complex cases or those outside your scope of practice.
  • Education and Training: Counsel and educate patients and their families on preventative health care and provide ongoing support.
  • Administrative Tasks: Document patient information, maintain department statistics, and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Licensed PA by the Virginia Board of Medicine and certified physician assistant by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Current CPR certification.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development. Our comprehensive compensation package includes health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plans.
