About the Position: We are seeking a skilled Public Health Nurse II to join our team at Warren County, NC. As a key member of our public health programs, you will be responsible for providing primary, preventive, and rehabilitative care to individuals and families in various settings. This is a dynamic role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for improving public health outcomes.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to clients in clinics, homes, schools, and community settings
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with clients and other healthcare professionals
- Serve as charge nurse in clinics, overseeing the work of other nurses and managing clinic flow
- Conduct home visits and provide community outreach services to promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention
- Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina
- 1 year of professional nursing experience
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
