Job Summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Senior MRI Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex MRI procedures, reviewing requisitions, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex MRI procedures on a scheduled and emergency basis
  • Review and evaluate requisitions for MRI imaging procedures, abstracting data from patient charts and determining appropriateness of procedure prescribed
  • Select appropriate equipment and technical parameters to identify pathologic and normal patients
  • Explain the examination and answer questions from patients and parents regarding the exam and Magnetic field environment
  • Follow MR QC Exam/Data Integrity workflow and High Reliability Communication techniques
  • Consistently provide exceptional care and exceptional service
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions through the INeedit system
  • Organize and maintain daily tasks as delegated by manager or Assistant/Chief Technologist
Requirements
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist - MRI
  • Associates Degree: Allied Health
  • 3 years of experience working as an MRI Technologist
