Job Title: Senior Laboratory Technologist

At Bio-Techne, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Laboratory Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical laboratory, you will be responsible for performing high-complexity testing under the direction of our Clinical Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-complexity molecular biology procedures under the supervision of the CLIA Technical Supervisor.
  • Provide training and guidance to other technologists as directed by the CLIA Technical Supervisor.
  • Contribute to the development, optimization, validation, and verification of laboratory tests using molecular biology techniques.
  • Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, test analysis, reporting, and record-keeping.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient test results and quality control activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in a molecular clinical laboratory, or equivalent experience.
  • Current certification or eligibility with ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) as an MLS – Medical Laboratory Scientist, MT – Medical Technologist, MLT – Medical Laboratory Technician, MB – Molecular Biology, or specialist.
