About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Audio-Visual Support Specialist to join our team at Indian Township Solutions. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for resolving AV-related issues and providing technical assistance to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and troubleshoot AV-related issues, providing technical support and advice to clients
- Research and resolve AV software and hardware issues, utilizing available resources
- Determine the root cause of issues, whether hardware, software, or system-related
- Provide expert-level technical assistance, answering questions and applying AV knowledge
- Log and maintain records of trouble tickets, documenting symptoms, troubleshooting, and resolution
- Maintain an accurate inventory of technological assets
- Develop and maintain user-training manuals and procedures, providing training as needed
- Make recommendations to executive management on device and technology needs for efficiency and success
- Conduct periodic diagnostics and testing to ensure optimal AV function and minimal downtime
- Collaborate with programmers to explain software errors or recommend changes to programs
- Communicate with software and hardware vendors to request service for defective products
- Test software and hardware to evaluate ease of use and effectiveness
- Perform administrative duties, including purchase orders, travel requests, expense authorizations, and return materials authorizations
- Travel throughout the United States as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Accounting, or related field
- 4+ years of equivalent experience in AV support or related field
- AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification required
- CTS-D certification beneficial but not required
- Sec+ certification beneficial but not required
- Excellent customer service skills
