Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at ITW. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are in good working order and that our production processes are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Install, repair, and maintain a wide range of production machines, attachments, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Machine PM**: Assign and close records, ensuring that all maintenance activities are properly documented.
  • Troubleshooting and Analysis: Troubleshoot, dismantle, analyze, and diagnose defects in production machines, including plastic injection mold machines and automatic equipment.
  • Machine Safety and Upkeep: Install and maintain machine safety devices and shields, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
  • OSHA and EPA Compliance: Ensure that all relevant OSHA and EPA documentation is up to date and that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Team Leadership: Directly manage a team of maintenance technicians, evaluating their performance and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Performance Management: Write performance appraisals and corrective actions for maintenance technicians, ensuring that all employees are held to high standards of performance.
  • Project Management: Manage projects, including creating budgets and timelines, to ensure that goals are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, ensuring that all vendors are providing high-quality products and services.
Requirements
  • Experience**: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in the injection molding industry or a similar industry.
  • Education**: High school diploma or GED.
  • Skills**: Proficient in PLCs, hydraulics, injection molding machine repairs and maintenance, and electrical knowledge.
  • Physical Demands**: Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ISO9001 Experience**: Experience with ISO9001 requirements.
