Compensation: $43,888
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, Sunday. Hours may vary based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead lifeguard supervision and aquatic safety protocols, including scheduling and emergency coverage.
- Collaborate with the Director of Aquatics to ensure equitable pool access and foster a supportive atmosphere for all users.
- Respond promptly to incidents, preparing and submitting reports as required.
- Assist with special events and interdepartmental support as needed.
- Staff Development: Recruit, train, and nurture a team that embodies a welcoming and positive culture.
- Facility Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment that is inviting to all members.
- Relationship Building: Utilize effective communication to foster positive interactions among staff and participants.
- Data Management: Analyze feedback to improve service delivery and participant satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- 1-3 years of experience in pool management or administration is preferred.
- Experience in swim instruction is a plus.
- Prior involvement with nonprofit organizations is advantageous.
- Familiarity with YMCA operations is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
- Availability on Sundays is required.
