Chief Technology Officer

Ecology Project International is seeking a highly skilled Chief Technology Officer to lead the organization's technology and systems strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the organization's goals, focusing on maximizing the use and integration of Salesforce and other core platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a technology strategy that aligns with the organization's goals.
- Lead, prioritize, and implement automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance across the organization.
- Ensure the effective implementation and management of all internal and external communication platform solutions.
- Develop and implement systems projects to support the work of our program, marketing & communications, finance, development, and human resources teams.
- Design and implement robust data security policies and protocols to protect organizational data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and oversee ongoing training programs for staff on utilizing LMSs and AI to build internal capacity and expertise.
- Design and implement a long-term strategy for hardware management, maintenance, and replacement to support the organization's technological needs.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, systems integration, and innovation.
- Master's degree (or additional 5 years of IT experience) in a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience using and administering Salesforce, project management, and data analysis tools.
- 3 years of experience managing IT teams both in-person and remotely with the ability to inspire & empower.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Ability to innovate and creatively problem-solve.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Fully bilingual (Spanish-English).
- Commitment to EPI's mission and values.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse and dynamic environment working with interdisciplinary and multicultural teams.

Compensation:
Local market-based starting salary range according to working location and DOE: US - $73,895-76,432 USD, MX - $49,207-52,852 USD, CR - $47,449-49,852 USD. In addition, this position is eligible for a generous benefits package that includes paid time off, sick leave, holidays, health insurance, retirement, and professional development funds.
