A positive, energetic, and friendly demeanor is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Restock beverages, mixers, and garnishes at the bar.
  2. Assist with cleaning duties, including clearing empty glasses and trash from the bar and tables.
  3. Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the bar area by wiping down surfaces and organizing supplies.
  4. Conduct regular checks of restroom facilities to ensure cleanliness and quality.
  5. Thoroughly clean restrooms at the end of each shift.
  6. Respond to spills or customer accidents promptly and efficiently.
  7. Ensure bartenders have access to clean towels and glassware at all times.
  8. Wash cups and dishes according to established procedures.
  9. Monitor and replenish ice supplies as needed.
  10. Assist with inventory management of liquor in the back of house.
  11. Adhere to all opening and closing procedures during shifts.
  12. Promote customer satisfaction by engaging with guests and addressing inquiries.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in a barback or bussing role is advantageous. Candidates should be able to thrive in high-pressure environments, possess strong attention to detail, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. Physical ability to lift at least 30 lbs is required. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, as shifts may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
