Bartender - Paloma

**Job Summary**

Auro Hotels is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at the AC Hotel by Marriott Greenville Downtown. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for maintaining the entire bar operation, including the service of beverages, food items, and cashier duties, while ensuring guest satisfaction through friendly and courteous service.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Takes orders from customers or Bar Server
• Mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks
• Serves wine and draught or bottled beer
• Arranges bottles and glasses for attractive display
• Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks
• Checks food before serving to ensure appearance, temperature, and portions are correct
• Replenishes bar snacks
• Follows AURO Hotels beverage standards and procedures
• Makes sure all drinks are rung up properly and collects money for drinks served
• Follows cash handling responsibilities as dictated by AURO Hotels policy
• Is fully responsible and accountable for an issued bank
• Fills out beverage requisitions, par and supply lists; assists in monthly inventory
• Has full knowledge of and fully complies with the state liquor laws
• Follows proper procedures for ringing guest checks and cash collecting procedures
• Performs all duties in a safe manner and monitors those actions of others
• Prepares efficiently and accurately all drinks according to AURO Hotels standards
• Has knowledge of general house information to assist guests
• Relays any guest complaints/comments to Manager
• Responsible for the daily maintenance and cleanliness of the bar
• Responsible for profitable bar cost by accurate measurement of product

**Requirements**

• High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
