Radiology Department Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Department Manager to join our team at Ascension Wisconsin. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our radiology department, developing and implementing plans for patient care services, and overseeing the quality of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations of the radiology department, including scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
- Develop and implement plans for patient care services, including diagnostic imaging policies, procedures, and services.
- Assess the quality of patient care and coordinate patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
- Manage staff relations, including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
- Oversee the monitoring of departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local agencies, including the Joint Commission, ACR, JRCERT, ICAVL, and all regulatory agencies.
- Maintain established productivity standards and supply expense metrics, and account for monthly reporting of departmental variances, budget, FTE, and expense variances with associated action plans.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following certifications required: Cardiographic Tech, Nuclear Medical Tech, Radiologic Technologist, or Medical Sonographer.
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience, or 7 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
