About the Role:

VHC Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures, administering radio-pharmaceuticals for the purpose of detecting pathology, evaluating function, or as a means of therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radio-pharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring patients are informed and comfortable throughout the imaging process
  • Schedule patients for nuclear medicine studies and provide preparation instructions

Requirements:

  • College diploma in radiological procedure or related field
  • 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine, preferably with a focus on pediatric imaging
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear) or NMTCB certification
