Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Medical City Arlington. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for scans and administering radioactive isotopes to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for exams by administering pre-medication and radioactive isotopes
  • Operate gamma cameras to scan patients and record radiation levels
  • Record patient information and examination results
  • Assist in administering I-131 therapy and maintain I-131 therapy schedule
  • Order radioactive isotopes and maintain inventory
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • NMTCB Radiation Safety Certified or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
