Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Medical City Arlington. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for nuclear medicine exams, including administering pre-medication and radioactive isotopes.
- Operate gamma cameras to capture diagnostic images and measure radiation levels.
- Record patient information, exam results, and radiation safety data.
- Assist in administering I-131 therapy and maintain related schedules and records.
- Order radioactive isotopes and maintain inventory.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- State Registered Radiologic Technician certification.
- Vocational school graduate or equivalent.
- NMTCB Radiation Safety Certified or equivalent.
