The Guest Services Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring a pleasant experience for our guests. This position involves managing the check-in and check-out processes, addressing inquiries, and fulfilling special requests in line with established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Address and resolve guest complaints to guarantee satisfaction.
- Proactively anticipate guest needs and respond promptly, regardless of the time of day.
- Maintain excellent relations with guests at all times.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of hotel amenities, operational hours, room rates, special offers, and daily activities.
- Safeguard assigned cash bank and ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
- Answer phone calls within three rings, utilizing appropriate greetings and professional etiquette.
- Facilitate guest check-ins and verify registration details.
- Collect necessary payment information and process transactions accurately.
- Coordinate with the Bell Person for luggage assistance.
- Manage requests for wake-up calls and guest faxes.
- Communicate essential guest information to relevant departments.
- Resolve any discrepancies in room status with the housekeeping team.
- Process guest check-outs and handle various financial adjustments.
Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and have at least one year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector. Basic computer proficiency is required.
