We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Pride Health in Madison, WI.
Job Summary:
The Surgical Technologist will prepare the Operating Room for surgery, promote patient safety during surgery, and provide assistance to the surgeon during procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the Operating Room for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Assist the surgeon during procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
- Care for patients during surgery, providing emotional support and ensuring their comfort.
- Care for instruments and supplies used in surgery, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Strong cardiac, thoracic, and transplant experience, including heart and lung, is highly preferred.
- Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital is required.
- Prior traveler experience is highly preferred.
