The Community Outreach Recruiter will be tasked with preparing for and participating in both virtual and in-person recruitment initiatives. This includes engaging in local community events and a variety of networking opportunities with community organizations, educational institutions, and other stakeholders.

This position requires on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for and attend recruitment events in both virtual and physical formats.
  • Research and engage with community event coordinators to enhance visibility and awareness.
  • Identify and connect with community partners for potential collaborations.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and networking sessions with community organizations and educational entities.
  • Implement grassroots marketing strategies to boost community engagement, including the creation and distribution of promotional materials.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Ascentec Engineering, ensuring a positive representation of the organization.
  • Exhibit proficiency in public speaking and facilitation, including through digital platforms.
  • Utilize strategies from sales, marketing, and networking to elevate interest in Ascentec Engineering.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support organizational objectives.
Essential Skills:
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to work independently.
  • Expertise in community engagement and relationship building with diverse groups.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in using cloud-based applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passionate about the mission and vision of the organization.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
Physical Requirements:
  • Capability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Physical stamina for prolonged standing, bending, and stretching.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
Salary Range:

$60,000 to $70,000
