Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Equipment Operator to join our team at Government Jobs. This role involves operating motorized equipment and performing manual skilled and semi-skilled labor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate motorized equipment such as tractors and trucks.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment.
- Assist in the upkeep of grounds and facilities.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a CDL may be required.
- 1-2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation or related field preferred.
Working Conditions: This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.
