Job Summary

Commercial Steel Erection, Inc. is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including vehicles, forklifts, and cranes.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex equipment issues, using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective equipment operation.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or repair.
  • ASE certification preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Working Conditions:

The Heavy Equipment Technician will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to heavy machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
