ResponsibilitiesThe actuarial internship program has two primary goals: to provide students with an opportunity to explore the actuarial field as a possible career choice and to identify potential full-time talent.
Interns will participate in a variety of actuarial research activities, including expense studies, lapse studies, rate management analysis, product pricing, process automation, and more. These activities will provide an overall exposure to the profession of actuarial science.
Projects vary each summer, and interns will work on real-world experiences that have relevance to immediate business needs of the company.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, candidates should have a successful track record in a four-year degree program in Math or Actuarial Science.
Proven project and people leadership skills, including developing strategies, motivating individuals, providing feedback, and driving for results.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including listening and presentation skills.
Strong organizational skills to balance multiple projects and duties.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think creatively.
