Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role:
MKS Instruments is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a critical role in supporting the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including footnotes, MD&A, and XBRL requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including financial statements and schedules
- Research and analyze technical accounting issues, including accounting standards and document conclusions
- Support external and internal auditors for schedule requests and internal control testing
- Assist with the annual goodwill impairment analysis and other management projects
- Deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting or a related field
- Experience with Hyperion Enterprise/HFM, Oracle/SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Public Accounting background or CPA required
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience working in an external financial reporting role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with all levels of management
