The Compensation Analyst is responsible for managing the compensation plans, programs and structures for Draeger North America. Ensures compensation programs are executed according to policies, procedures and effectively managed ensuring all timelines and deliverables are met. Manages external market survey process to collect and analyze information, assess the company's competitive position and recommends opportunities to launch new or refine existing compensation plans. Provides guidance and makes recommendations to HR and business leadership on compensation issues at all levels and functional areas of the organization. Ensures compensation philosophy, strategies and structures are aligned to best support the organization's current and future needs.

Principal Accountabilities:

Annual Programs

Manages all aspects of annual compensation programs including the annual merit review, bonus and growth promotion programs. This includes:
  • Researching and preparing budget recommendations
  • Developing timelines and guidelines
  • Establishing and tracking to project plans
  • Developing and deploying communications for a variety of audiences
  • Coordinating program launch with HR Business Partners; ensuring they have all necessary tools and resources they need to complete their roles
  • Recommend changes to programs based on market trends, business need or process improvement principles.
External Market Surveys
  • Responsible for all external market processes, programs and platforms. Ensures data submissions to various vendors are on time and accurate. Reviews & interprets results, identifying labor market trends and areas of additional focus in support of Draeger North America compensation programs.
  • Manage relationship with vendors from various surveys and platforms (eg AON, Mercer, PayScale), engaging with management, legal, accounts payable as needed. Maintain familiarity with market offerings to ensure selected vendors are best suited to fit the organization's current and future needs. Recommends changes to vendors as necessary.
Internal Structures & Job Reviews
  • Manages the Draeger North America salary and job structures. Reviews and recommends changes to the salary and job structures based on market trends and business needs. Coordinates with HRIS and HR Business Partners to ensure deployment of changes.
  • Responsible for conducting job reviews and projects of various scopes to assess competitive positioning and internal equity. Recommends actions that align with compensation initiatives and ensures consistency with internal guidelines, policies, practices, procedures and relevant external regulations.
Legal & Compliance

Supports audits as needed by providing requested compensation documentation in a timely manner. Monitors changes to relevant laws and regulations to ensure Draeger North America is compliant with all requirements.

Your Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related area of education required.

Related Experience:
  • 5+ years of compensation experience including deployment of a wide range for compensation process, evaluation methods, project management
  • Demonstrated capability to deliver compensation programs according to plans while engaging others on the HR team.
  • Expert level of proficiency in using desktop applications (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and MS Project)
  • Experience with using HRIS platforms such as SAP or SuccessFactors
  • Strong knowledge of other applications such as Power BI and MS Access

The Drger Workplace

Draeger has several sites located across North America as well as field-based sales and service positions. Our North America headquarters is located in Telford, PA just north of Philadelphia. We also have US sites in Andover, MA, and Houston, TX. Our Canada site is located in Mississauga, Ontario.

The design, development and manufacturing of Draeger's Patient Monitoring product line takes place in our Andover, Massachusetts location.
