Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate opportunities with OEMs and contractors in the designated region.
- Maintain documentation of opportunities in CRM systems, develop and implement account strategies, and formalize initiatives for execution by representative organizations where necessary.
- Formulate follow-up actions to ensure the effectiveness of account strategies.
- Possess extensive knowledge of refrigeration systems to provide accurate quotations for Danfoss's industrial refrigeration offerings or guide the representative network as needed.
- Engage in high-level negotiations and value-based selling to secure business opportunities.
- Consult with end users regarding upcoming expansions or new facilities.
- Take ownership in resolving conflicts to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Support regional consulting engineers, contractors, or end-users for projects purchased outside the region.
- Deliver essential technical training to installers and other stakeholders to demonstrate the value of Danfoss products.
- Actively participate in local industry associations and volunteer for roles that enhance Danfoss's visibility.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a business-oriented approach.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a sales or sales support role within the industrial refrigeration sector.
- Strong knowledge of System Controls and Power is advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of the Industrial Refrigeration market, including products, key customers, competitors, and equipment suppliers.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
Skills:
- Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly assess and comprehend specific customer challenges and future needs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including representative networks.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Results-driven with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Professional, determined, and persuasive communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the capability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
