Quality Assurance Engineer at Butler America Aerospace, LLC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, adjust, and sustain standards for software quality assurance
  • Execute software inspections, testing, verification, and validation processes
  • Apply software development and maintenance protocols
  • Guarantee compliance with reliability standards
  • Create criteria to facilitate the implementation of software quality programs
  • Examine project and process control documentation
  • Conduct verification of software requirements and assess testability

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Technical Engineering
  • Experience in establishing quality standards and procedures
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficient in resolving technical and process-related challenges
  • Knowledge of Configuration and Data Management practices
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Capability to pass visual acuity and color perception assessments

Desired Skills:

  • Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
  • ASQ CQE and/or CQIA Certification
  • Experience with SAP Applications
  • Familiarity with GD&T and FAI
  • Experience with Material Review Boards and inspection tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, and NQA-1/10CFR50 Appendix B standards
