At ABC Liquors, Inc., our Sales Associates play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring they enjoy a remarkable shopping experience while driving product sales and fostering customer loyalty. Our team members are also tasked with maintaining an organized, sparkling, and well-stocked environment to enhance every visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome every customer warmly as they enter the store, providing friendly, prompt, and courteous service.
  • Utilize a Point-of-Sale system to accurately process customer transactions, including cash handling and applying discounts.
  • Acquire knowledge about our selection of wines, spirits, beers, and cigars, and learn how to effectively promote and sell these products to meet sales objectives.
  • Uphold Responsible Vendor status throughout employment by verifying age through proper identification for alcohol and tobacco purchases.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the store, both inside and outside.
  • Offer gift-wrapping services for ABC products and create custom gift baskets, along with providing carry-out assistance.
  • Help with the unloading and organization of weekly deliveries, merchandising products on shelves and in coolers according to guidelines, and restocking as necessary.
  • Complete additional tasks or projects as assigned by the management team.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, particularly during peak seasons.
  • No prior experience is required; however, retail or industry experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds for stocking purposes, with or without accommodation.
