Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome every customer warmly as they enter the store, delivering friendly, prompt, and courteous service.
- Utilize a Point-of-Sale system to accurately process customer transactions, including cash handling and applying discounts.
- Acquire knowledge about our diverse selection of wines, spirits, beers, and cigars, and learn effective sales techniques to contribute to store sales objectives.
- Uphold Responsible Vendor status by verifying customer identification for age-restricted purchases.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, both inside and outside.
- Provide gift-wrapping services for products and create custom gift baskets as needed.
- Help with the unloading and organization of weekly deliveries, ensuring products are displayed according to company standards.
- Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned by the management team.
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Flexible availability is required, including nights and weekends, particularly during peak seasons.
- No prior experience is necessary; however, retail or industry experience is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds for stocking purposes, with or without accommodations.
