Business Manager - E2E

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and deploy global commercial operations strategy and processes. Each day, you will take the lead on contracts with our end customer and distribution partners, as well as lead the development and implementation of third party management processes. You will also showcase your expertise by leading simplification efforts focused on making commercial processes streamlined and efficient both internally and externally to empower the sales team to act fast and be more customer-centric. . The preference is for this position to sit in the Memphis, TN office, but we are open to remote work for an exceptionally strong candidate. Expected travel is approximately 20%. #LI-Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for:
• Developing, overseeing, and administering the orders and revenue reporting systems by driving key performance metrics and dashboards that help the commercial organization focus on profitable growth. Establishing and implementing effective analysis of sales force trends and performance to identify greater efficiencies by focused analytics on funnel, opportunities, backlog and other key commercial metrics.
• Partnering with sales and finance leadership on the development of the incentive plan (VID) design for IP, working closely with FES, and coordinating effective communication with finance team. Managing team responsible for commercial contract management for the region, as well as the third party management process. Partnering with regional sales & marketing to effectively support promotional campaigns to drive sales, as well as development and governance of MSA's.
• Ensuring processes established to proactively identify and manage risks relating to MSAs across customers/channels. Being aware of all terms & condition changes/policy deviations/concessions and ensuring compliance in accordance with governance guidelines. Partnering with global cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to simplify the commercial process by leveraging the company's systems and tools to optimize and automate existing processes, and supporting business scalability by leading ongoing simplification initiatives and standardization of global processes through global best practice sharing.
• Enhancing sales enablement tools to improve commercial efficiency (e.g. quoting and contract automation, product & pricing FAQ's, approval templates, etc.) to make it easy to do business. Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 10+ years in sales operations or related discipline required.
  • Detailed understanding of sales processes, sales reporting including sales forecasting, sales force automation and territory planning & management.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence change across organizations and garner support to continually streamline and improve inefficient practices that impact the deal management process.
  • Strong project management, strategic, analytical and financial skills.
  • Demonstrated experience with operations readiness initiatives at a leadership level.
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $179,300 and $298,700 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
