Key Responsibilities

The Material Handler/General Helper position is an entry-level role where you will be responsible for operating various machinery, including forklifts, pole trucks, and clamp trucks, while also assisting in other operational tasks.

  • Engage in activities that enhance quality and minimize waste within your processes.
  • Learn and adhere to safety, environmental, and quality regulations related to Forklift and Clamp Truck Operations.
  • Identify and halt any operations that do not meet product quality standards or safety protocols.
  • Ensure daily machine operations align with established quality system policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate inter-plant logistics, including the transfer of raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments within INDEVCO Group to drive operational improvements.
  • Commit to continuous process enhancement both individually and as part of a team.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • Basic computer and mathematical skills.
  • A mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience in operating forklifts, pole trucks, and clamp trucks.
  • A proven ability to learn and apply new technologies and information.
  • Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • The capacity to lift approximately 50 lbs.
  • The ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Availability for various shifts, including evenings and overnight hours.
