About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetric Nurse to join our team at NurseStar Medical Partners.

This is a 13-week assignment with a salary range of $60,000 - $64,000 gross per period.

The successful candidate will possess experience in inpatient or outpatient settings, preferably in obstetrics or gynecology. Their primary responsibilities will include providing general nursing care to patients during labor and delivery, as well as postpartum phases of pregnancy.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct patient care and monitor patient responses to labor, delivery, and postpartum phases of pregnancy
  2. Assist and educate patients in breastfeeding as needed
  3. Interpret fetal monitor strips and respond accordingly
  4. Offer outpatient care services, such as iron infusions, NST's, labor assessments, circumcisions, and bilirubin checks
  5. Promote patient wellness throughout labor and postpartum phases via continuous education

Qualifications:

  • Active North Dakota RN licensure
  • Current certifications in ALCS, BLS, and NRP
