Position Summary:
The Food and Beverage Operations Supervisor is accountable for the comprehensive management of food and beverage services, including bars and banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service quality and adherence to established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of food and beverage departments, ensuring compliance with service standards.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, procurement, and personnel management in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational objectives, including productivity and customer service standards.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations set forth by the alcoholic beverage commission to mitigate legal risks.
  • Enhance profitability through effective portion control and accurate charge monitoring.
  • Promote food and beverage offerings through targeted marketing initiatives and community engagement.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment by enforcing sanitation standards and overseeing equipment maintenance.
  • Continuously update knowledge through professional development opportunities and industry publications.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
  • Manage cash systems and prepare reports to support departmental administration.
  • Perform Manager-on-Duty responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:
Education: A two to four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: A minimum of three years in a leadership role within food and beverage management, overseeing teams of ten or more. Familiarity with scheduling, POS systems, and inventory management is essential.
Skills: Strong analytical abilities, advanced knowledge of business management principles, and excellent communication skills are required. The ability to delegate effectively and manage complex projects is crucial.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $22-$24 per hour, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401k plan with employer matching, and opportunities for professional development.
