Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team at Hospitality House of Charlotte. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing volunteer programs, managing volunteer databases, and promoting the organization's mission to the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement volunteer programs to engage the community and promote the organization's mission
  • Manage volunteer databases and track volunteer hours and activities
  • Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Collaborate with the Development Team to promote volunteerism and engage the community
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local service groups, organizations, and individuals to promote volunteer service
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to guests and volunteers
  • Perform other duties as necessary to support the mission and goals of Hospitality House of Charlotte
Requirements
  • 2-4 years' experience in a volunteer and/or community engagement role
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong leadership, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft programs and social media platforms
  • Emotionally resilient and able to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
