Pediatric Palliative Care Physician Opportunity
Provider Solutions & Development is seeking a board-certified pediatrician to join the Perinatal and Pediatric Palliative Care Team at Providence Sacred Heart Childrens Hospital.
This team provides comprehensive and coordinated palliative care services for children in a consultative model, in collaboration with specialty and community providers. We complete perinatal consultations in collaboration with the maternal fetal medicine physicians in the High Risk Pregnancy Center and follow patients through their young adult years while assisting with transition to adult medical care services.
Our team consists of 4 pediatric RN coordinators, 1 pediatric social worker, 1 child life specialist, and 1 pediatric palliative care physician. We work closely with additional services including pediatric chaplains, unit child life and social work, music therapy, art therapy, and pediatric psychology to provide robust psychosocial support to our patients and families.
Requirements
- Physician must be board-certified or board-eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the care of children with medical complexity, symptom management, and end of life care is preferred
- Position provides inpatient and outpatient consultations
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is between $252,644 and $327,660 per year. The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
