About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at CrossCountry Freight Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, identifying new sales opportunities, and developing and implementing sales programs to drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pursue new sales opportunities and develop existing accounts within assigned territory by providing progressive freight solutions through principles and relationships.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement sales programs designed to improve services, meet sales goals, and increase profitability.
  • Manage customer questions and concerns, and handle a variety of other responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of computers and proficient typing skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales goals.
  • Experience in transportation/freight industry sales is a plus, but not required.
