Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Sevita. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the health and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the health conditions of individuals served and ensure quality services are provided.
  • Administer medications and provide documentation.
  • Provide prescribed medical treatment by physician's orders and personal care services.
  • Conduct assessments, implement healthcare services, and respond to changes of condition.
  • Provide training to staff members on topics such as universal precautions, infection control, and medication administration.
  • Serve as a liaison and advocate with other medical and professional service providers.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • One year of experience working with the population served in a nursing capacity.
  • Current state LPN or LVN License.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff, individuals served, and families.
