Position Overview:
As a vital member of the Arapahoe County Judicial Services Division, the Administrative Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing various clerical and administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle both walk-in and telephonic inquiries from individuals involved in the justice system.
2. Manage a high volume of calls related to Pretrial Release, Alternative Services, and Community Correction Programs.
3. Ensure meticulous data entry into the Judicial Services' case management software on a daily basis.
4. Oversee pending cases, distribute memorandums to the Probation Department, and provide callers with pertinent case information, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
5. Prioritize front desk operations, including welcoming clients, responding to phone calls, managing email correspondence, processing financial transactions, and overseeing supply inventory.
6. Offer administrative support to management and staff, demonstrating comfort in assisting individuals facing challenges related to the criminal justice system, mental health, substance abuse, and unemployment.

Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven experience in fostering effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
- Dependability and punctuality are critical for success in this role.
- Proficient computer and typing skills are required.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure thorough and efficient completion of work.

Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- At least one year of experience in a clerical role, preferably within the criminal justice sector, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Successful completion of pre-employment assessments, including a motor vehicle record check and background investigation.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Colorado Driver's License.

Security Clearance:
- Fingerprinting and a Colorado Bureau of Investigation background check are required.

Work Environment:
- This position is primarily office-based, with potential coverage required at alternate locations based on departmental needs. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with the possibility of additional hours as necessary.

Physical Demands:
- The role involves predominantly sedentary work, with occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. and various movements associated with office tasks.
- Effective communication skills are necessary for interaction via telephone and email.
- Frequent use of hands and visual capacity for operating office equipment is required.
