Key Responsibilities- Revenue Collection: Identify and pursue outstanding patient balances with insurance companies, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clinical personnel, teammates, and insurance representatives to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations to identify trends and root causes of unpaid and underpaid claims, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Claim Resolution: Research, appeal, and resolve claim rejections, underpayments, and denials with insurance payors, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Education: High school diploma or GED, with an associate's or bachelor's degree highly preferred.
- Experience: Healthcare and medical billing/collections experience is preferred, with intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to research and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
