About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Revenue Specialist to join our team at DaVita. As a key member of our financial operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our revenue collection processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Collection: Identify and pursue outstanding patient balances with insurance companies, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clinical personnel, teammates, and insurance representatives to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations to identify trends and root causes of unpaid and underpaid claims, implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Claim Resolution: Research, appeal, and resolve claim rejections, underpayments, and denials with insurance payors, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED, with an associate's or bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • Experience: Healthcare and medical billing/collections experience is preferred, with intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to research and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
