Job Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in the financial operations of our organization, focusing on the evaluation and preparation of financial outcomes to assess the implications of manufacturing performance. This position is integral in identifying risks and opportunities while offering strategic and tactical guidance to management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate financial planning activities, including the annual budgeting process and regular forecasting.
  • Assist in the creation of standardized monthly reporting for the organization and prepare updates on business performance.
  • Conduct monthly analysis comparing actual results to budget and forecast, identifying variances and potential areas for enhancement.
  • Analyze and project working capital and inventory needs.
  • Deliver strategic insights and reporting to management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to enhance business efficiencies.
  • Support the sales team in developing revenue projections and performance assessments.
  • Utilize PowerBI for the reporting of key performance indicators.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting for cost functions and conduct analyses for special projects.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any hazardous conditions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is essential.
  • A strong grasp of accounting principles, particularly in manufacturing cost accounting, is required.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Accounting or Finance within a manufacturing or distribution setting.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft D365, is advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications with a willingness to adopt new technological solutions.
