Senior Financial Analyst
Finance Department

As a key player in our finance team, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing and assessing financial outcomes to evaluate the financial implications of manufacturing operations. This role emphasizes identifying risks and opportunities while offering strategic and tactical insights to leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate financial planning and oversight for the organization, including the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasts.
  • Assist in the creation of standardized monthly reporting for the business and compile monthly updates.
  • Analyze actual financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and areas for enhancement.
  • Forecast and analyze working capital, inventory levels, and inventory needs.
  • Deliver strategic analysis, reporting, and insights to management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to enhance business efficiencies.
  • Support the sales team in developing revenue budgets and performance reports.
  • Utilize PowerBI for reporting on key performance indicators.
  • Engage in cost function budgeting and forecasting analysis for special projects.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and reporting any hazardous conditions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is essential.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and manufacturing cost accounting is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance within a manufacturing or distribution context.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft D365, is preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications with a capability for adopting new technological solutions.
