We are seeking a skilled Spiritual Care Coordinator to join our team at Metropolitan Jewish Health System. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide compassionate and personalized spiritual support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate pastoral support services to patients and families, ensuring their spiritual needs are met.
- Provide direct pastoral services, including counseling and guidance, to patients and families.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement spiritual care plans.
- Document clinical contacts and patient interactions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Input clinical data into our electronic health record system.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Divinity degree or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a spiritual care or pastoral support role.
- Strong communication, listening, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
- Valid New York State driver's license preferred.
