As a Spiritual Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating pastoral support services to patients and families, providing direct pastoral services, and coordinating spiritual support with requested religious affiliations.

Key responsibilities include completing and preparing documentation from clinical contacts and patients, inputting clinical data into our MISYS database, and maintaining updated intake reports.

  • Knowledge of and ability to perform Islamic End of Life ministry is essential.
  • A Bachelor's diploma from an accredited college and a Divinity Degree are required.
  • Minimum of one year experience post-graduate in a healthcare setting is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel is required, as well as a valid New York State Driver's license.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Strong teaching and public speaking abilities are also required.
  • Ability to input clinical data proficiently is crucial.
