Job Summary

New Oakland Family Centers is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team in the Partial Hospital Program. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive therapeutic services to consumers in an acute setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Individual, Group, and Family Therapy: Provide evidence-based therapeutic services to consumers, including individual therapy, admissions assessments, family therapy, and group therapy.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team: Work seamlessly with our team of professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for consumers.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement treatment plans tailored to individual consumer needs using a person-centered approach.
  • Document and Maintain Records: Accurately document and maintain records of consumer interactions, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Participate in Clinical Meetings: Attend and participate in daily administrative and clinical meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree and Licensure: Possess a Master's degree in social work, professional counseling, or psychology, and valid clinical licensure.
  • Experience and Skills: 1 year of mental health experience preferred, with the ability to work well with all populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
